I’ve been away for awhile on a big trip but got back earlier this month. Every couple days I walk around Denison but it’s been v quiet bird-wise.

I did see my FOS Am Tree Sparrow Dec 5 in a flock of White-throateds, then a Hermit Thrush popped up. Only other sparrow has been a few Songs.

Yesterday, I was happy to see one Golden-crowned Kinglet with some chickadees & titmice.

2 nights ago around 10pm, I heard a single Great-horned Owl calling from down by the bike path S of my house.
