We headed down to IKEA today and I took the opportunity to check out the
pond where the white-fronted geese had been reported Dec. 26th. A survey
around 4:45 PM turned up very few waterfowl -- 4-6 mallards, 2 small
flocks of Canada geese (8-10 individuals) and 1 GBH flying by. I'm
wondering if the white-fronted geese have moved on? We didn't do a
detailed search but given the low number of waterfowl present, it didn't
seem likely to produce much.

Good birding, Sharon
