I found a Pacific Loon just off the CJ Brown dam near Springfield, Clark County this afternoon about 3 pm. I was on a boat without binoculars or a decent camera but got some blurry IPhone photos. 
I contacted some local birders/photographers. Larry Jeanblanc and I refound it from the Dam service road about halfway between the Visitor Center and the control tower around 4 pm. He got some great photos. It is in first summer plumage so quite brownish at a distance.
