Much quieter birding today. I only birded the Marie Hickey area as the quarry area was inundated w/multiple school buses. Parking lot looked nearly full.
I did pick up my FOS Swainson’s Thrushes (seen well) and Acadian FC (h).
Warblers, mostly heard:
Prairie
Blue-winged
B&W
N Parula
Yellow
Chestnut-sided
Tennessee
Am Redstart
Ovenbird
Hooded
Chat
Com YT
Scarlet Tanager (heard)
Wood Thrush
Indigo Buntings
Red-shouldered Hawk
Heard a Great Crested FC from the river access rd.
I got 2 more yard birds yesterday in Granville: a N Parula in the AM & a Scarlet Tanager “chik-burring” from the forested hill N of my house.
