We birded Zaleski and Lake Hope area Sunday, 4/10. Highlights include:

Pileated Woodpecker
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
N. Flickers
Purple Finch (3: 2 male + 1 female)
E. Towhee (multitudes)
Chipping Sparrows
Tree Swallows
E. Bluebirds
Black and White Warbler (heard)
Yellow-throated Warbler 2
Black-throated Green Warbler 2 (1 seen, 1 heard)
 
Many Mourning Cloaks
Commas
Swallowtails
 
Painted Turtle
 
Redback Salamander
Green Frogs
Breeding American Toads
