Visibility wasn’t great but I did get decent scope views from the dam of the Eared Grebe. I felt I saw enough of the field marks to call it. The neck was quite dusky, darkish auriculars and there was a definite peak to the head. Maybe it’s just me but I always feel like Eared Grebes hold their necks more upright than Horned & appear lighter-bodied but I maybe that’s just something I see. It was by itself.

Dipped on the LT Ducks but saw a nice Com Goldeneye drake near a raft of Buffleheads. Three Com Loons off the beach.

At oxbow, I spent a little time scanning the Bonaparte’s for the Little Gull but did not see it. Lots of Ruddies & Hooded Mergs.
