Spent 2 1/2 days at Shawnee chasing the birds that were hiding behind
well-leafed-out trees.  Total of 77 species; 19 species of warblers.   Below is
an incomplete list:

Broad-winged and rough-legged hawks
American kestrel
Barred owl
Ruby-crowned kinglet
Yellow-throated, warbling, and red-eyed vireos

Warblers:

Black and white
Worm-eating
Blue-winged
Northern parula
Yellow
Magnolia
Yellow-rumped
Black-throated green
Cerulean
Yellow-throated
Chestnut-sided
Pine
Prairie
Ovenbird
Louisiana waterthrush
Kentucky
Common yellowthroat
Hooded
American redstart

Rose-breasted grosbeaks
Eastern towhees
Scarlet tanagers

Killdeer
Solitary sp
Spotted sp
Green heron
Belted kingfisher

And most of the "regular stuff"
