The reserve was warm and muggy and pretty quiet bird wise. The only warblers I had were Com YT and Hooded, just heard. One Chat showed well. A couple Wood Thrushes still singing. Wood Ducks.
Vireos: Red-eyed, White-eyed.
At Galena, I heard and then saw one Prothonotary Warbler. Also had Acadian FCs and peewees calling as well as a yellow-billed cuckoo. I spooked a Green Heron. Both platforms had Osprey. DC Cormorants.
A spotted fawn and doe checked out my bird feeders this evening.
