The kelp gull was seen this evening at 6:00PM in Canton.
The location was near the intersection of Schroyer Ave. SW and Ninth St. The bird was viewed from a parking lot off Ninth St. Just west of Schroyer Ave.
Although it was a flyover the diagnostic field marks were seen by all present.
Also present was lesser black-backed, great black-backed(5) and a 1st cycle Iceland.
The gulls are roosting on the ball fields or buildings in the vicinity.
As with Springfield Lake the gulls leave early and return late evening.
