This morning around 10:00 I happened to be outside and heard the distinctive croaking call of a raven. It then came into view for a while and I saw it make it's characteristic soaring and circling for a bit and then kept heading SE which is incidentally toward Fernwood State forest about 4-5 miles from my location (not to imply that is where its destination was).
The past 2 or 3 years I've been hearing them more and more and sometimes seeing them fly over. Last October I got see one hanging out on a nearby power line tower.
