I received this message yesterday and I was not diligent about checking my email last night.

First of all the rails were heard/seen again last night - Wed., 9/3. Again they appeared at 8:20-8:30. I was not there. The question is will visitors be allowed again this evening - Th. 9/4. I would say yes! Junior Nisley and his son Johnathon are great hosts and so much enjoying sharing their special avian visitors. I know of several folks that already have plans to go again tonight. So, yes, if you have not yet enjoyed these birds, I'd try to get there tonight. There is not much of the sorghum crop left. Once that is all gone, I would GUESS that the birds would move on.

I would encourage anyone going this evening to try to find out how much longer the sorghum crop is going to last and then report to the listserv so that other folks can make plans.
