With the recent discussion about viewing snowy owls and the number of
recent snowy owl sightings in Ohio and other Great Lakes areas, birders
might want to watch the *Project Snowstorm* website for information on
snowy owls:

The interesting thing about the most recent blog on this site is that large
numbers of snowy owls nested this past summer in northern Quebec. This same
thing occurred four years ago, the last time that large numbers of snowies
came our way the following winter. It could be an interesting winter for
snowies!
