There was an EARED GREBE at Fairport Harbor this afternoon. It was in the
area of the boat ramps just east of the river. There were numerous horned
grebes in the same area. There may have been a small flight of eared grebes
as birds have showed up in a number of locations in the last couple days.
Watch all grebes closely.

Yesterday, I found a NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL along Fairport Nursery Road just
east of Fairport. Unfortunately, the bird was pretty well smashed on the
road. It was unbanded.
