Walked around for a couple hours this morning. Some new birds for the year. Notable sightings: 1 Yellow-throated Warbler (heard & then seen) at the main picnic area across the road from the visitor center, Tree & Rough-winged Swallows at the main lake, 2 Phoebes, 1 Brown Creeper, 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers, & copulating Northern Flickers with probable nest hole. Good birding!
