The Canada geese are starting to congregate there and the ball fields nearby.
Always worth a scan if in the area. Lake still has nothing. Besides geese. Although
this is a great spot for stuff just putting down. And sky watching.
That area at the SE end is always a good spot for passerines in the afternoon.
Sunny, and berry vines. A nice flock was there. Waxwings, House finches, one
Purple finch. Robins, a field sparrow!
Nature notes - as I stood there I had a swarm of gnats. So still food around
for our lingering friends!
Good birding all.
