After my last post about the Cliff Swallows nesting under the Lion
Bridge in Franklin Bruce Stewart e-mailed me asking if I had seen any
Cliff Swallows under the Corwin Nixon bridge about 3/4 of a mile up
river. He thought he had. Today on the way home from work I stopped and
did discover at least five active nests under the bridge. They were on
the north side. I did not get a view of the south side to see if there
were additional nests on that side. Data has been entered on the OBBA
site.
