I was at Wildwood Park on Lake Erie today from 12:15
to 4:15pm. Even though it has been windy the last few
days there were more birds that were highly visible
today. There were some great photographic moments with
the sun shining on all the changing foliage and the
really good birds were almost posing. (no camera yet)
It was in the upper 40's, winds per Accuweather were
NW, W, WNW, W 15-22mph. Here are some of my
highlights:

American Coot 2
Chimney Swift 3
Blue-headed Vireo 1 (seen two different places 3 hrs
apart)
Brown Creeper 3
Carolina 1, Winter Wren 2
Golden 14 + Ruby-crowned Kinglets 20
Hermit Thrush 1 (didn't spend much time in the woods -
they also make a "chuck" noise
**Warblers** 7 species
Tennessee 2 (one looked very spring like in sunlight)
Orange-crowned 1
Nashville 8+ (they were everywhere)
Black-throated Blue 1 F (only saw it after I heard
it's "tik" west of the road where I never would of
looked)
Yellow-rumped 30+
Black-throated Green 1
Common Yellowthroat 1 (only saw it after I heard it's
chuk)
Song Sparrows 4 (some have "Lincoln" colors now I
guess these are immature - I didn't go to Symposium)
White-throated 17+
White-crowned 6
Deer 1
