Here in the s.w. corner of Ohio, Highland Co., I have noticed the total absence of tree and white-crowned sparrows at my feeders. In normal years I have about equal numbers of white-crowned and white-throated, and tree usually are very common. Fox sparrows are fairly common as well, but this winter has been an exception.
