The Prothonotary Warblers are back at the north end of Hoover Reservoir in good numbers. My latest swing through areas along the shore produced 78 individuals. We have yet to set sail this spring so the numbers on the islands and along the lower east shore are still to be determined. Happily I have observed them bringing nest materials to a number of my nest boxes. The biggest deterrent at the moment is to not trip over the fishermen as the fish are hitting everywhere.
