Drove around Seneca Lake this afternoon.
Sightings:
At the dam:
Lots of Turkey Vultures
Canada Geese
1 Great Blue Heron
Buffleheads
Mallards
a large flock of DC Cormorants on the tip of one of the islands, several near the dam.
At the Park, 1 Starling
2 Crows
Canada Geese
1 Mourning Dove
1 Robin.
At the pond at the South Eastern Corner:
A flock of Purple Martins
2 Northern Shovelers
4 Wood ducks
several Mallards
9 Ring Necked Ducks
8 Blue Winged Teal
6 Buffleheads
2 Gadwalls
Red Winged Blackbirds,
Crows,
and more Turkey Vultures.
