I went out before it got too oppressive but it was very quiet at the reserve this morning. The only warbler I saw was a single American Redstart.
I did have a Great-crested FC as well as a Yellow-bellied. I also heard a peewee. One Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. I heard a YB Cuckoo briefly. Towhees & catbirds.
A couple Chimney Swifts went over. I was very disappointed there were so few Chimney Swifts over Granville this summer—quite disheartening. When I first moved here three years ago, the summer evenings had good numbers over the town.
