The 32 white pelicans reported last night by Su Snyder were still present
this morning at 7am. They are located in a flooded field at some distance
north of the graveled section of Wilderness Rd. which is west of the only
farmhouse along that section of the road. Wilderness Rd. is near Funk and
can be accessed from either Elyria Rd. or Funk Rd. south from US 30. A
scope will be give much better views of the pelicans.

There are still lots of ducks in that area. In flooded fields on the north
side of hwy 95, east of Funk, there were several lesser yellowlegs and a
flock of about 25 pectoral sandpipers. Randy Rowe, Wooster
