I'm also in Summit County. The place to go is Time & Optics down in
Millersburg. It's a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it. You can try
out several different pairs and see which ones you like the most.

It helps to go on a cloudy/overcast day, so you can see which binoculars
let through the most light in low light conditions.

After trying out several different pairs, I ended up going with Styrka S7
8x42, which I hadn't even considered. They're about the same price you
mentioned.
