I only had a few hours. Lost Bridge over the Great Miami River was nice.
The quarry pond area was open water. The geese were all back on that
side for a nice study. Alas, just Canada! There was one in there a tad smaller.
But just a Canada. RN Duck, Hooded Merg, etc. Nothing unusual.
My goal is 280 for my big year. I would think 300 possible, but I will be
doing my Armleder inat big year, traveling, hitting Lake Erie.... etc!
First bird was a House Sparrow at my house. Couldn't avoid it......
Happy 2021 birding all!
