Overall, it was fairly quiet and I had to dig for birds partic warblers but I still ended up with a reasonably good list. I finally ran into a feeding mixed flock late in the morning which added to my species list and also afforded some enjoyable viewing.
Heard a Red-breasted Nuthatch as well as White-breasted. E Phoebes, one Brown Thrasher and many catbirds & towhees.
Single Ruby-crowned Kinglet, empid sp. I did not hear or see any peewees. A few Cedar Waxwings, at least one RB Grosbeak.
Dipped on a sapsucker which apparently everybody else is seeing except me But I did have a great views of a hairy woodpecker along with the usual Downys and red bellied’s. Pileated called.
Wood Duck in flight. E Bluebirds, possible family group.
Besides Song & Field Sparrows, I had a brief look at a Chipping Sparrow.
