This came through on the bird educators listserv - a proposed "birding"
tv show on Animal Planet! They're looking for opinions from potential
audiences.

See below.

Subject: [birdedlist] New Bird Show on TV?!

Hello Fellow Bird Educators,

A strong proponent and friend of bird education, field guide author
Richard Crossley has a bird program in development for Animal Planet.
You can help get this program on the airwaves!!

Please check out the link below. Click on the oriole to preview a
segment of the show then take the survey. Let's make enough noise to
get a birding show on the tele!

Richard is a great guy that cares about bird education. The show itself
could really help get the birding message out to the HUGE audiences!

I hope you enjoy this. My wife and I did!

Original posting to NJ listserve:

Richard has been working on a proposal for television series called Wild
in the

City. Animal Planet love everything about but believe there is no market
for

bird related programs. The production company based in California has
been

asked to prove otherwise. If you would like to help prove them wrong (or
just

have a laugh at Richard) click onto
http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/136290/wild.

Please fill in the attached short survey. They are interested in volume
(and

positive responses) and need surveys completed by Monday. All help is
greatly

appreciated so please forward to friends.
