I stopped at Blendon for a walk after running errands in Columbus yesterday. It was nice to see 7 Wood Ducks on Thoreau Lk, 5 drakes & 2 hens. Other ducks: N Shoveler, Gadwall, mallard, Black. Great Blue Heron.
Nothing unusual at the feeders but 2 turkeys were hanging out by the visitor center. A Red-shouldered Hawk was calling & a few juncos were around. Heard some grackles as well as Red-wingeds.
Red-taileds & at least one kestrel were along 161.
