A quick near sunset visit to the beach area yielded 2 Bonaparte’s Gulls, one in adult breeding plumage, one in winter plumage.
A dozen Great Egrets were on the far shore. Probably twice that number of Great Blues scattered around.
Spotted Sandpiper, Killdeer. Several Canada Geese, one Kingfisher.
E Kingbird. Heard distant Wood Thrushes and Carolina Wrens.
