I was 99 percent sure the Sandhill Crane
From last night was gone. A late migrant
Putting down for the evening. But I had to try!
I am serious about 200 for the year in Butler!
No crane at Ellis. If we get no more rain
For a couple weeks, it might just dry out
Enough for some shorebirds. Fingers
Crossed!
I had some time before work, so I zipped
Over to Gilmore. I like that NW corner area
For passerines. No migrants today.
Good birding all.
