A short walk at the land lab this morning was already warm & muggy but I was rewarded with 2 male Bobolinks perched low and preening, perhaps after a bath. One of my favorite birds.
Also had E Kingbirds, Great Blue & Green Herons, Indigo Bunting, mallards, Com YT & Yellow warblers. Crows and young flickers already panting.
Too hot to linger long.
