I received the following e-mail message, this morning, Wednesday, in reference to the male Rufous Hummingbird near Shreve at the Kanagy Family residence. Today would be the 12th day present if still there. Here is the message. Bob Lane

Dear Bob and Denise, I was very grateful for your specific directions on the listserve to see the Rufous-- they were very helpful! I had to go there 3 times before being successful! But it was well worth every mile driven and every moment spent. He's a beautiful bird! I saw him today, Tuesday November 3 at 12:50 PM for the first appearance. I stayed quite awhile, because I just couldn't "get enough" of him, and he came several times. With all the time I've spent there, I was able to meet and talk to the wonderfully gracious family which also was a treat. Thanks again. Happy birding.
