Great weekend for birds and that was just while working in the yard /
woods.
- First Scarlet Tanager for the season
- Pair of Yellow-rumped warblers
- Worm eating warbler
- Heard a Hooded Warbler and Yellow warbler
- Wood thrushes are back
- Great Horned owl was calling midday on Sunday from across the ravine in
the back
- Eastern towhee
- Eastern Phoebe
- 2 pair bluebirds (one nest with 5 eggs!)
- House wren
- Carolina wren
- Chipping Sparrow
- Song Sparrow
Not to forget all the regulars
- Cardinal
- Goldfinches
- Blue Jay
- Robin
- Brown Headed Cowbird
- Blue Jay
- Downey woodpecker
- Hairy woodpecker
- Pileated woodpecker
Probably more warblers that I have heard but not positively ID'd.
