Two out of three isn’t bad.

No one I ran into had seen the Pomarine Jaeger at Pleasant Hill Lk today. Pls post to the listserve if you hear of it being seen again.

I heard and saw the Vermilion FC imm female only briefly and mostly backlit as it perched on the west side of the road by the parking area then flew across the road and vanished.

Great looks at the Rufous HB. It goes between the two feeders on the front porch, the ornamental dwarf red maple at the base of the right feeder and the fruiting crabapple tree to the left of both feeders. I also saw it flycatching in the same area.

Many thanks to the incredibly generous homeowners who are graciously allowing birders onto their beautiful property. Sharon greeted us as well. She asks birders to pls sign a guest book she’s set out.

A Red-headed WP came into the peanut feeder they have out.

A couple birders saw the Am Bittern at the reported area at Funk Bottoms/Wilderness Rd today also. I didn’t try for it.
