Sorry for the late posting. Yesterday (while the weather was nice) I visited the marsh around mid-day. There were the usual winter birds and lots of Canada Geese. There was an immature Red-tailed Hawk but the parking lot when I arrived and it flew to a limb overhanging the paved path adjacent to the entrance. The youngster only watched when I walked a few feet under it. The highlight was a pair of Tundra Swans that called and flew east along the shoreline towards Huron. I suspect these are some of the birds reported at Magee Marsh previously.
