I had a great time with all you avid birder folks yesterday morning at Funk(y) Bottoms. There were also a lot of Snipe and a few other birds like E. Phoebe, Lincoln's Sparrow, E. Bluebirds, and Yellow-rumped Warblers, in addition to the other birds mentioned recently by others. There were just scads of Swamp Sparrows, but the few shots I attempted at these species didn't turn out as well as the Le Conte's photos. Anyways I thought I'd post the public link to the photo Album I made of them on Facebook. Please bear with my comments as they are intended for the uninitiated as well as the bird-brained like us. I also do a little bit of yammering on about my new girlfriend who came along, you must excuse me, I'm sure Kenn K. would understand how I feel tho. ;-)

On a side note, I took a walk around a neighborhood in the vicinity of Hard Road and Smoky Row road in Columbus today and we had at least 5 Red-Breasted Nuthatches. What fun little birds.

 Good birding,
