The adult Snowy Egret reported yesterday at Dillon State Park northwest of
Zanesville was at the beach area today. It is off to the right of the beach
on some aluminum structures on a floating dock. You need to be down at the
shore at the boat launch to see it. Photos in my eBird report tonight when
I get home.
Other highlights at the beach:
Great Blue Heron--35
Double-crested Cormorant--15
Killdeer--20
Least Sandpiper--3
Spotted Sandpiper--2
Ring-billed Gull--11
Caspian Tern--6, including 2 first-year birds. Photos to be included with
eBird report when I get home.
Bald Eagle--1 adult and 1 very distant probably first-year bird
Red-headed Woodpecker--1 juvenile
Earlier at the marina:
Double-crested Cormorant--1
Ring-billed Gull--2
Earlier at Dillon Dam:

Great Egret--1
