Larry Gara and I found two immature Little Blue Herons at the Mound Road
access point at Caesar Creek. Presumably, these are the same birds Rick
Asamoto reported on Sunday. I got some serviceable pictures. You can find
them on my account on Google+ or at the following link:

The birds were well observed, separated from Snowy Egret by the
particolored bill and the uniformly greenish-yellow legs. (Immature
snowies have black legs with a greenish-yellow stripe up the back.) Great
Egret was eliminated by leg and bill color and size.

Cheers,

Bob
