A Hudsonian Godwit was seen at 10 this morning at the south east pond. I saw this with two other birders and it was clear when the bird took off that it was Hudsonian due to black and white pattern in wings and white rump as well as black tail. Seen by three borders through scope.

Currently we are viewing a Black Tern that has been coming in very close. Many times the bird has come within 3 feet offering beautiful views. Take the newly mown path back to the southeast pond.
