A couple highlights from a walk at Sandy Ridge Metropark (Lorain County) this morning from about 9 AM to 10:30 AM:

Sandhill Crane - 2 (close to the trail around the main impoundment; allowed us to get within about 20 feet and never did go very far; we finally got our fill and walked on)
Sora - 1
Bald Eagle - 2 adults (one had a quite dirty looking head, but full white tail)
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1
Great Egret - about 40
Green Heron - 1
