Hello all,

A few of us went out to Hayes Road, in eastern Geauga County this morning. It was pretty quiet; even the feeders were not attracting many birds. But we did see one dark-phase Rough-legged Hawk, which was kind enough to kite over a field for a while, giving us a very good view. We also had a Northern Cardinal being chased by an accipiter—probably a Cooper’s Hawk.

Other birders reported Horned Lark, but we didn’t see them.
