The yellow-throated warbler has returned to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park at Station Road. It was seen this morning, April 5, on the towpath north of the Route 82 bridge, just before the foot bridge over the canal. Just south on the towpath from the connector trail was a blue-gray gnatcatcher. Louisiana waterthrush was singing and was seen in the Brecksville Reservation, Cleveland Metroparks, at the corner of Parkview Road and Meadows Drive.

A common loon was on Silver Lake, Stow (Summit) on April 2nd. Two tunda swans (along with two blue-winged teal and one pied-billed grebe) were at the Pleasant Valley Marsh in Independence (Cuyahoga Co), near Pleasant Valley Road and Brookside Road on Friday evening, April 2nd. A winter wren was at the ledges in the CVNP on Saturday morning, April 3rd. The abandoned golf course in Boston Heights along Route 8 hosted at least 2 eastern meadowlarks the same morning.
