Seen were: wood ducks, 5 ring-necked ducks, 7 buffleheads, 8 ruddy ducks, common loon, horned grebe, double-crested cormorant, great blue heron, green heron, osprey (first local nesting attempt), red-shouldered hawk, 5 Wilson's snipe, solitary sandpiper, tree swallows, n. rough-winged swallow, barn swallows, e. bluebirds, brown thrasher, yellow-rumped warbler, and dark-eyed junco. A fox sparrow was seen a couple days ago, too. Craig Holt, Lowellville
