Some of the golden plovers remain along Shockley Road in southeastern Clark
County. The field has less standing water now and fewer plovers but I still
saw at least 60 of them this morning. They may not remain much longer with
south winds projected for tonight and tomorrow. I also saw a couple American
Pipits. In a wet field just to the west I saw four Greater Yellowlegs.
