I watched for nighthawks between about 7:30-8:15 from the bike path and saw 6 but I don’t know if some of them may have doubled back. I never saw more than two at a time and several minutes elapsed between sightings.

The first 2 were headed S, one single went E, 2 went SW and the last one was headed due S.

Saw maybe 12-15 high-flying Chimney Swifts but didn’t observe any flocking and they didn’t seem to be headed in any one direction.

Also saw a distant Green Heron in flight over Raccoon Crk.
