Today at Holden a group of us had 37 species.
I am frankly not sure how unusual a Snow goose is at Holden, but I have not recorded one there. It was initially close to Sperry Road near Corning Lake with two Canada geese and then flew across Corning Lake and behind the visitor center somewhere.
Other highlights were Hermit thrush, Savannah sparrow and a calling Eastern screech owl early in the morning.
