Hello Troy:

Your item #1 is very important to me. I have no idea where places like
Headands Park, ?Gol/Gall? Woods, Furnas Creek Boat Ramp, Englewood Metropark
are located. There must be a great birding location called Killdeer
somethingorother but I haven't a clue what or where it is.

Thinking others would not know where Salem Township might be in Muskingum
County I listed my meager sightings by my map coordianates. WRONGwithahonk?
All the Ohio roadmaps I own have Lat and Lon shown in the margins, but it is
not general practice to list sightings by Lat and Lon because people do not
use such things. Upon reflection this might be correct but I learned to
read a map in the 8th grade, sometime in 1953 or 1954. I'm also a pilot and
a graduate engineer so I can see where listing my location by coordinates
could be construed as arrogant.

I'm still in the dark on many/most sighting locations. I travelled all over
the world for 45 years while making a living as an electrical engineer but I
don't know my own state very well :-(

I feel out of the loop also Troy.

Cordially,
Tom Slater
