Over the past several weeks my husband has twice noticed a large raptor
gliding silently over our house well after sunset. But he's never gotten a
solid look to confirm our suspicions that it's a GH Owl. They have
inhabited the woods by the OSU West Campus farms from time to time. But
we've not actually heard any hooting this year. Any suggestions for other
possibilities welcome...or reports of sightings from anyone else in this
area.

Good birding, Sharon
