fledgling is a Prothonotary Warbler. This makes sense since there was
a pair around yelling at me.46_11Jul201021:48:[log in to unmask]

Eagles begin nesting in NE Ohio by the end of Jan. or mid Feb. , the Osprey has not arrived yet. So when the Osprey does return the Eagles are well into incubation or just hatching and I think they would defend their nests at this time. The Ospreys taking over the Eagle nests could be just utilizing the "abandoned" nest? All this is well worth watching and documenting, what year, time etc.
