I birded at Conneaut harbor from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM today.  Overall, it was a pretty average day.  Absolutely no swallows present was curious.  Highlights were: 3 blue-winged teal, 4 n. shovelers, 35 double-crested cormorants, 7 bald eagles, sora, Am. avocet, 8 semipalmated plovers, 11 killdeer, sanderling, least sandpipers, pectoral sandpiper, semipalmated sandpipers, Caspian tern, belted kingfisher, and marsh wren.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
