somehow between the back yard and the computer room upstairs that grebe we reported lost its horns and grew ears! It is not an eared grebe, but a horned grebe that is on our lake.We correctly identified it but somehow changed its name on the way upstairs. It comes every year about this time and stays a few days. Sorry about the false report - hope you all didn't get too excited! However, the horned grebe is pretty cool too and we are glad he is here.
